This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
Contained in his Sands/Atlantic City black leather golf bag are Jean Beliveau's Slazenger Ben Hogan Apex irons (2-9 + 2 wedges) and woods (1-3-4-5) and a MacGregor putter. Joining them in the lot are a dozen classic golf photos, most of them from the ‘50s and ‘60s and either showing Beliveau following through or posed with playing partners. Golf tournament souvenirs include a handsome wooden box with engraved plaque (1965 Jean Beliveau Tournament in Victoriaville), a 10-coin set from Air Canada's 5th Annual Celebrity Tournament (Nassau - 1977), a plaque for his opening of the Hirsch Creek course in Kitimat, BC (1971), a wood carving from a 1982 tourney and a framed autographed piece from a tournament to benefit Canada's national institute for the blind (2001). Great golf lot from Jean Beliveau's collection, it will come with his signed LOA.
