The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
A gifted athlete who enjoyed golf but who often didn't have the time to play as much as he would have liked due to his numerous functions and other commitments, Jean Beliveau's golf clubs were carried in this cool red-white-and-blue leatherette bag by Spalding. Beliveau's name and the Canadiens' logo appear on one side while his Laval-sur-le-Lac membership bag tag is hooked to the handle. The driver and two other woods are by Fox while the 2-9 irons and two wedges are marked "Fox III Tour Professional". The putter is unidentified. Vintage clubs show use and like the bag, remain in excellent condition. Great personal lot will be accompanied by Jean Beliveau's signed LOA, along with his red game used(!) Canadiens golf glove.
