The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
After being named to the NHL's 1st All-Star team in 1954-55, Jean Beliveau repeated the feat 5 of the next 6 seasons. To say that he was the dominant center of the late 1950's is an understatement. A 10-karat gold NHL All-Star charm features crossed hockey sticks and a single diamond on the front, six more diamonds within stars around the edge and the years engraved on the back, along with his name. The nifty mini binoculars were presented to Jean Beliveau for his participation in the 1956 NHL All-Star Game played in Montreal. They're still in their leather carrying case with gold lettering detailing the event and with Beliveau's name. The defending Stanley Cup champion Canadiens played to a 1-1 tie with the all-stars. Cool All-Star game memorabilia is in excellent condition and will come with Jean Beliveau's signed LOA.
