Amazing look at what some of the pros wore in the 1920's, this pair was donned by "Hec" Lepine, brother of longtime Montreal Canadiens' star Alfred "Pit" Lepine. Hec played just one season in the NHL but a memorable one it was, playing on a line with his brother and Wilder Larochelle and on the same team as Morenz and Joliat. Before the days of tendon guards, these CCM-made skates feature CCM "Special" blades and thick leather toe caps. One of the original leather laces is still present while the other has been replaced by a black lace. Size 11 and in remarkable condition, the skates were gladly accepted by Jean Beliveau when offered by the Lepine family. A signed LOA by Beliveau will be included with these wonderful relics.
