The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
What a piece for Canadiens maniacs to consider! Produced in 1993 for the Stanley Cup's centennial, this huge display pictures several of the happiest moments in Canadiens' history. Bob Gainey and Henri Richard are shown hoisting hockey's ultimate prize while Maurice Richard is pouring champagne into the bowl. Jean Beliveau and Patrick Roy are hugging the Cup and their respective Conn Smythe trophies. Smaller shots of other Habs' triumphs are along the bottom. The background is an image of Yvan Cournoyer raising the holy grail. All of these legends have autographed the piece in silver ink. This one is numbered 4/1993 and is Jean Beliveau's personal copy. The winner of 10 Stanley Cups as a player, Mr. Beliveau will sign a LOA that will be included with this tempting display.
