The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
Jean Beliveau was extremely honored to be invited to the last hockey game ever played at the Boston Garden and presented to the crowd. "The Last Hurrah" took place September 26, 1995 with the Canadiens playing the Bruins in exhibition action. Souvenirs are highlighted by a lead crystal "Thanks For The Memories" puck that sits on a marble base with an engraved plaque listing Beliveau as an honored guest. Beliveau has autographed a similar (rubber) puck, a commemorative ticket, 2 t-shirts, a TFTM baseball cap, a Last Hurrah program and a Boston Garden Banner Years publication. A letter thanking Beliveau for taking part, a photo of the interior of the Garden that night and Jean Beliveau's signed LOA round out this splendid lot.
