The Bobby Hull Auction - May 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/25/2004
Veteran Canadiens defenseman Patrice Brisebois reached the pinnacle of a hockey player's career very early, getting his name engraved on the Stanley Cup following his first full season in the NHL. Brisebois appeared in all of Montreal's 20 playoff games in 1993, including their 4-1 series victory over the L.A. Kings in the finals. This CCM red knit jersey that Patrice wore in games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles has the Maska Ultrafil tag in the neck and a size 54 fly tag. The NHL logo and "CCM" are embroidered onto the tail while the tackle twill Canadiens crest, the numbers, and "Brisebois" on the nameplate are all sewn-on. The Stanley Cup centennial patch, which was only worn during the finals, is sewn on the right breast. Light game use includes some board burns and stick slashes on the sleeves. A letter of authenticity will be included.
