Winter 2004 Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/17/2004
Canadiens team captain Pierre Turgeon was in the spotlight several times during and after the last game at the Montreal Forum. He opened the scoring in the first period, picked up an assist in the second, finished the game with 5 shots on goal, and then was handed the burning torch in the memorable post game ceremonies. Wow, what a night! Turgeon's CCM Maska jersey is tagged in the hem and has a size 54 fly tag in the neck. CCM and the NHL logo are embroidered on the tail. Tackle twill crest, numbers and letters on the nameplate are sewn on, as is the captain's "C". Jersey shows light game use with three small marks on the left sleeve, a mark and 2 small burns on the right sleeve, and a couple of small marks on the hem. Signed beside the "C" Pierre Turgeon - #77. A classic from a Habs team captain, who's now closing in on 500 career goals. Will be accompanied with a Letter of Authenticity.
