This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2025
The 36th season of play in the National Hockey League for the blue and white faithful from Toronto, the 1952-53 edition of the Maple Leafs would finish the regular season with a record of 27–30–13, landing in 5th place when all was said and done, missing out on a berth in that year's Stanley Cup Playoffs. Lead in scoring by forward Sid Smith, offered here is this team-signed sheet that has been autographed by eighteen (18) members of the 1952-53 Toronto Maple Leafs. A thin beige coloured piece of paper that measures out to dimensions of roughly 5" x 8", the page remains in overall good condition, sporting some even minor toning throughout as well as a couple of fold lines/creases and light surface marks. Signed by eighteen (18) in blue or black coloured fountain pen ink, those that have signed include HOFers Max Bentley, Ted Kennedy, Tim Horton, George Armstrong, Howie Meeker, Leo Boivin, Fern Flaman and Harry Watson, who are joined by the signatures of Tod Sloan, Sid Smith, Jim Thomson, Jim Morrison, Hugh Bolton, Rudy Migay, Gord Hannigan, Bob Solinger (slightly smudged), Bob Hassard and Ron Stewart. With all the signatures remaining in overall excellent condition and easily legible, the sheet comes accompanied by a JSA LOA.
