This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/24/2025
Exciting the Maple Leaf Gardens hopefuls with a second place finish at the conclusion of the 1961-62 NHL season, the Toronto Maple Leafs would be led by the scoring prowess of Frank Mahovlich, with Johnny Bower securing an impressive 31 wins. Advancing to the Stanley Cup finals vs Bobby Hull and the Chicago Black Hawks, the Leafs would take the series in 6 games, with this the first of three consecutive championships for the squad. Offered here, we present this team-signed sheet that has been autographed by sixteen (16) members of the 1961-62 Toronto Maple Leafs. Taken from a Maple Leafs game-program played at Maple Leaf Gardens, the page features the table of contents on one side and a Rothmans cigarette advertisement on the other. Measuring roughly 6 1/2" x 10" and sporting toning as well as a few tears around the edge, tape marks appear in three (3) spots on the table of contents side as well as an affixed hologram at the bottom left hand corner. Signed by sixteen (16) in blue ballpoint pen ink that displays well despite some minor fading from age, those that have signed include HOFers George Armstrong, Frank Mahovlich, Johnny Bower, Red Kelly, Dick Duff, Al Arbour, Bob Pulford, Bert Olmstead and Allan Stanley as well as Billy Harris, Bob Nevin, Bob Baun, Eddie Litzenberger, Ron Stewart, Eddie Shack and Carl Brewer. A COA will accompany, matching the previously mentioned hologram.
