Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025

Turning pro in his native Czech Republic with Mountfield HK before coming over to North America and playing a single season of junior hockey with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League, Filip Hronek would go on to be drafted 53rd overall by the Detroit Red Wings at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft and has gone on to play over 450 games in the National Hockey League thus far with the likes of Detroit and Vancouver. Offered here, we present this stick used by Hronek during the 2024-25 season as a member of the Vancouver Canucks. A CCM JetSpeed Ft7 Pro model twig with "Hronas" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of white cloth around the entirety of the handle/knob (which has had a "25" penned over the backside at the bottom in black marker ink) while black tape has been applied over a portion of the blade, partially covering an applied stick blade grip that is found over both sides. Signed by Hronek over the forehand side of the blade with a large silver marker ink signature that displays without issue, the stick shows good evidence of game-use via a number of marks and abrasions throughout the length of the shaft, lower shaft, heel and blade, with majority of them being found over the applied grip tape on the blade.
