A part of the United States National Team Development Program before going off and playing a pair of NCAA seasons with the University of Connecticut, Tage Thompson would help the United States to a gold medal at the World Junior Hockey Championships in 2017 and would be drafted 26th overall by the St. Louis Blues at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Also a two-time bronze medalist at the IIHF World Championships and named to the NHL All-Star Game in 2023, offered here is this stick used by Thompson during the 2024-25 season while playing with the Buffalo Sabres. A CCM Tacks XF Pro model offering with "Thompson" factory graphics appearing over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original yellow coloured Lizard Skins gripper over the handle/knob which sports "Thompson 72" identifiers over the front side and a cross with the verse "Jeremiah 29:11" over the back side. Also still featuring the original white tape job around the blade, Thompson has signed over the heel area on the forehand side of the stick with a large silver marker ink signature that displays without issue, the stick sports signs of game-use via a number of marks and abrasions throughout the length of the shaft, lower shaft and heel as well as some minor marks over the blade tape, including a small tear on the backhand side.
