Still holding the NHL record for most points in a single game, scoring 10 points (6 goals, 4 assists) against the Boston Bruins on February 7, 1976, Darryl Sittler played in over 1,000 NHL games for three different clubs throughout his Hall of Fame career. The St. Jacobs native retired in 1985, with 1,121 points scored including 484 goals in his 15 NHL seasons. Still a fan favourite among Leafs fans to this day and commonly seen at Leafs home games, offered here is this lot consisting of a Maple Leafs jersey signed by Sittler as well as puck that has been autographed by him as well. Starting with the jersey, a "Vintage" offering made by CCM that sports brand and size "XL" tagging affixed to the inner collar, a CCM logo patch appears over the reverse hem of the garment, which has been decorated over the front with a familiar Maple Leafs team crest that has had "Toronto Maple Leafs" embroidered into it. Sporting matching alternate logo crests over the shoulders with the distinguished captain's "C" over the left breast and styled over the sleeves and verso with Sittler's number "27" in single layer twill numbers, "Sittler" is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Signed by Sittler through the middle of the "7" on the reverse with a silver marker ink signature that displays well, a Maple Leafs souvenir puck made by InGlasCo that sports a Leafs logo over the front will also accompany the piece, having been signed by Sittler with a silver marker ink signature that displays without issue. Both the jersey, with tags still affixed to the left cuff, and puck remain in overall excellent condition.
