Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/24/2025
A charter member of the National Hockey League that set up shop way beforehand in 1909, the Montreal Canadiens lay claim to the most Stanley Cup championships in NHL history with a total of twenty-four (24) and have had some of the best players in the history of the game to don their famed bleu, blanc et rouge. Offered here, we present this collection of seventeen (17) pucks singed by men who would play for the Canadiens, with each having penned their career "nickname" to go along with their signatures. Signing their autographs over mostly souvenir model slugs made by InGlasCo that feature various styles and sizes of Canadiens logos over their fronts and NHL logos on the reverse sides, all of the pucks included in the lot have been signed in either silver or gold marker ink, with each also having been inscribed by the man that signed with their "nickname" as well. Additionally, a couple have also included inscriptions for other things as well. Signatures present include those of Denis Savard, Serge Savard, Larry Robinson, Rejean Houle, Mario Tremblay, Dickie Moore, Jacques Lemaire, Guy Carbonneau, Chris Chelios, Mats Naslund, Jan Van Boxmeer, Guy Lapointe, Paul Byron, Noel Picard, George Laraque, Red Berenson and Kirk Muller. With the signatures all displaying beautifully for the most part (some show the odd light/small smudge that is worth mentioning for accuracy) along with the pucks themselves (some show light handling/age wear), many of the pucks included are accompanied by matching COA's.
