One of the most attractive sets ever produced by Parkhurst according to the tastes of yours truly, the 1957-58 set was released at the height of the Original Six era, and it features cards from just the Canadian rivals Montreal and Toronto. We offer a complete set of 50.
A lower grade set for the most part, highlights for the Habs include; 1-Harvey PR to FR (large crease); 5-M. Richard FR to GD (tiny red ink mark on back and light corner wear); 2-Geoffrion (large heavy crease), 3-Beliveau (multiple creases), 4-H. Richard rookie (multiple creases) and 15-Plante (multiple creases) all PR. Highlights for the Leafs include; 17-Mahovlich rookie GD to VG (small crease on back); 2-Chadwick rookie GD to GD+ (corner wear, small corner crease); 20-Baun rookie GD- to GD (surface discolouration and wear); 1-Armstrong (creases and corner wear), 4-Pulford rookie (multiple small creases) and 22-Horton (glue damage on reverse) all PR to FR.
