Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025

A five-time NHL All-Star with a pair of Frank J. Selke trophies under his belt, Anze Kopitar led the Los Angeles Kings to Stanley Cup championships in 2012 and 2014, and he has worn the captain's "C" since 2016. This signed and photo-matched Kings captain's jersey was worn by the Slovenian star during the warm-up on October 26, 2024 vs Utah (won by LA, with Kopitar assisting on the second Kings goal). “58+” sizing appears on a heat-pressed Fanatics label within the collar next to a team barcode, with NHL and Fanatics crests to the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a textured and layered Kings team crest in tackle twill, “11” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Kopitar” over the upper reverse in single silver twill. There is also a sponsorship patch to the right breast. Worn in just the warm-up, there is no game-wear visible. Getty Image #2180469045 (October 26, 2024) has been matched to extended threading visible in two areas at the bottom of the first "1" of "11" on the left sleeve, and to extended threading in two areas at the top of the captain's "C". Kopitar has signed the first reverse "1" in black marker, with the signature standing out beautifully against the light silver background. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with a laminated Kings/Helmet Tracker document to accompany.
