Capturing two (2) warriors that would both go on to be inducted into the hallowed halls of the Hockey Hall of Fame after they concluded their respective playing careers in the National Hockey League, Boston's November 14th, 1996 contest vs Lemieux and the Pittsburgh Penguins would result in a 2-1 overtime victory for the crew from Beantown, with Oates, pictured battling along the boards with Lemieux in the first (1st) period, scoring the winning goal at 1:05 of the overtime period. Offered here, we present this Boston Herald photo from that contest which has been encapsulated by PSA and deemed to be an "AUTHENTIC" Type l photograph. Measuring 8"x 10" for its effort and remaining in excellent condition overall, the backside of the image features an affixed Boston Herald staff photo caption slip which lists the date ("11/14/96") as well as the subject ("Bruins Hockey"), photographer (Bill Belknap) and what the image shows ("1st Period" - "B#12 Adam Oates" - "P#66 Mario Lemieux"). Also having had a green coloured sticker with "39" penned in it affixed to the back of the caption slip as well, the image is housed in a PSA holder that presents in overall excellent condition.
