Pictured over the front of his famed rookie card wearing his red coloured high neck Renfrew Creamery Kings sweater, the 1910-11 season saw Fred "Cyclone" Taylor post twelve (12) points in sixteen (16) games played. A two-time Stanley Cup champion who would be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1947, offered here is freshly graded copy of Taylor's first year card that was released as part of the 1910-11 Imperial Tobacco C56 release. A scoring machine that wowed fans with his skill and speed, this particular copy has been assessed a mark of "AUTHENTIC" for its effort from KSA. Retaining good colours in the image over the front but missing the top left corner, the card also shows with numerous heavy creases throughout its entirety as well as some edge and fairly heavy corner wear at the other there (3) points. Additionally, there is some staining over the reverse. Housed in a KSA holder that displays in overall excellent condition with minimal scratches over either side that are worth mentioning for accuracy. a more cost effective rookie card profiling of one of hockey's legendary figures, don't let your esteemed vintage collection go without this one!
It must be noted that the grading standards followed by KSA may not correspond to those currently employed by PSA, BGS or SGC. The outcome of an attempted cross-over of this lot through any of those services, then, would be uncertain and cannot be guaranteed.
