This Red Deer Rebels pairing features a signed 2012–13 road gamer worn by NHL defenseman
and former 7th overall pick Haydn Fleury and a circa 2021–22 specialty game-issued jersey
from Josh Medernach, both representing the proud tradition of the Red Deer Rebels.
Fleury’s black Reebok jersey comes from his sophomore campaign with the Rebels, during a
WHL tenure that spanned from 2011–12 to 2015–16. A size “56” fly tag hangs beneath the
Reebok CHL label inside the collar. A Reebok crest is stitched on the left breast and reverse
neckline, with the WHL logo on the right breast, Rebels shoulder patches, and a CHL crest on
the back hem. A fight strap is sewn inside the rear. “FLEURY” is stitched in white over maroon
tackle twill on a black nameplate, and the jersey features Fleury’s autograph in bold black
marker over the back number “4.” The signature remains clear and well-placed. A store tag
remains attached to the right sleeve cuff and the jersey comes with a team COA. The wear on
the jersey is light, with only a few board burns noticeable on the sleeves.
Medernach’s CCM jersey is a President’s Choice Children’s Charity special edition from the
2021–22 season. The jersey shows no noticeable game wear and is offered as a game-issued example.
Medernach appeared in nine games that season and played with Red Deer from 2019–20 through 2021–22. Inside the collar is a Catstitch CHL tag
with a size “56” fly tag attached. A CCM crest is printed on the left chest and reverse neckline,
while a WHL patch appears on the right chest. A Rebels “R” crest is featured on the right
shoulder and the charity’s graphic on the left. Number “15” is displayed on the sleeves and
back, with “MEDERNACH” on the nameplate above. His autograph is signed in black marker
over the top of the “5” on the verso, and a fight strap is affixed inside the jersey.
