The only league to complete with the NHL in the past century, the WHA existed for a mere seven seasons, forming over 50 years ago. Disbanding after the completion of the 1978-79 season with four teams (Edmonton, Winnipeg, Hartford and Quebec) joining the ranks of the National Hockey League for the 1979-80 campaign, offered here is this collection of ten (10) World Hockey Association game programs that date between the 1973-74 and 1977-78 seasons of play. Including examples from the Chicago Cougars (January 22nd, 1974 vs New England and November 2nd, 1974 vs Toronto), Minnesota Fighting Saints (1974-75 season and November 18th, 1976 vs Quebec), Phoenix Roadrunners (November 14th, 1976 vs San Diego), Cincinnati Stingers (November 24th, 1976 vs Indianapolis), San Diego Mariners (March 31st, 1977 vs Winnipeg), Edmonton Oilers (April 20th, 1977 vs Houston), Winnipeg Jets (May 5th, 1977 vs Houston) and Quebec Nordiques (October 15th, 1977 vs Edmonton). All in overall good condition for their age and showing only light handling, edge and corner wear for the most part, some of the included books show some page toning, staining, penned notations and foxing that is worth mentioning for accuracy while the Oilers program has a page in it that has been cut.
