Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/24/2025
The King of Hockey since entering the National Hockey League beginning with the 1979-80 season, up until the 1988-89 season, Wayne Gretzky had played every game of his career as a member of the Edmonton Oilers before being traded to Hollywood and the Los Angeles Kings on August 9th, 1988. Scoring on his first shot in a black and silver uniform and adding three (3) assists as the Kings routed the Detroit Red Wings 8-2, offered here is this complete ticket from the night Wayne made his memorable Los Angeles debut. Complete and not torn while showing information including time, opponents, date, seat information and price, the ticket is found to be in overall excellent condition despite its age and ungraded raw state, showing just some light handling, edge and corner wear that is worth noting for accuracy.
