Combining to play a total of 3063 games in the National Hockey League over the course of their respective careers in the league, Gordie Howe and Dave Keon would also see themselves hoist Lord Stanley's coveted Cup a total of eight (8) times as members of the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs respectfully. Pairing up as teammates as members of the Hartford Whalers during the 1979-80 season, Howe's final year in the NHL, offered here is this pair of Gordie Howe and Dave Keon milestone game ticket stubs during their time in Hartford. For the first stub, hailing from a game that occurred on November 11th, 1979 in Chicago Stadium, the contest would see the Whalers tie the Chicago Black Hawks 5-5 with Mr. Hockey recording his last career multi-goal game, #'s 778 and 779 of his career. Additionally, it was also Keon's last multi-goal NHL game as well with his goals being the 367th and 368th of his career. For the second stub, coming from a contest played on March 27th, 1982 between the Whalers and New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum, the Islanders would knock off the Whalers by a score of 5-4 with Keon scoring his 396th career goal, the last of his storied career. With both stubs displaying your typical information including seat, venue, price, time and opponents, both are torn and show things such as handling, corner and edge wear while the first one has penned notation over their reverses and the other sports creasing.
