Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/24/2025
Suiting up for 58 games with the Chicago Steel during the 2010-11 USHL season, David
Bondra, son of longtime NHLer Peter Bondra, played his lone junior season with the club before
moving on to NCAA hockey.
This black size “56” game-worn jersey was worn during that season. A Reebok tag is sewn into
the collar with a size tag hanging just below. Reebok crests are stitched to both the front and
reverse neckline, while Chicago Steel patches appear on both shoulders. The number “12” is
applied to both sleeves and the back in white over red double-layered tackle twill. The jersey
has no nameplate. A fight strap remains intact on the inside rear of the garment. Signs of game
wear are evident throughout, including a board burn over the right shoulder, another on the right
cuff, and two small holes with an adjacent board burn by the right elbow. The left sleeve shows
heavier use, with multiple visible team repairs by the cuff.
