Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/24/2025
This lot of three vintage pro replica jerseys captures a unique era in minor league hockey
history. The IHL was founded in 1945 and served as the NHL’s alternate farm system to the AHL
until its end in 2001. Notably, both the Ice Dogs and Spiders existed in the league for only a
single season in 1995–96.
The first jersey is a white Los Angeles Ice Dogs made by Bauer and sized “52.” It features
number “34” in navy over dijon and white triple-layered twill on the sleeves and verso, with
“JUNKER” stitched in navy single twill on a white nameplate. A paw print patch decorates the
right shoulder, and an LA patch appears on the left. Bauer and IHL crests are stitched to the
back hem, and a fight strap is affixed inside the lower back.
Next is a black Minnesota Moose jersey, also a Bauer size “52.” A captain’s “C” appears on the
left chest in white over green and purple triple twill, matching the twill of the number “27” on both
sleeves and back. “CHRISTIAN” is stitched in the same triple twill over a black nameplate, and a
Bauer Authentics patch is sewn on the lower front. Bauer and IHL logos also appear on the
reverse hem of the jersey, and the interior includes a firmly stitched fight strap.
Lastly, the San Francisco Spiders jersey. It is a Bauer size “52”, and features number “5” in red
over white tackle twill on the sleeves and back. “BILODEAU”appears in white single twill over
the black nameplate. A “SportsChannel” sponsorship patch is stitched on the front left chest,
while Bauer and IHL patches adorn the rear hem. Like the others, it includes a fight strap on the
inside lower back.
All three jerseys remain in immaculate, near-perfect condition.
