Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025

A familiar name on the Muskegon Lumberjacks roster throughout the early ’90s, Jamie Leach
suited up for the club across four seasons. This particular gamer comes from his brief 1991-92
stint and may have been recycled from a previous season or even worn by another player, as
subtle signs of a former nameplate are visible.
The jersey is Maska made and tagged as a size “54” in the collar. It features the prominent
PHPA 25th Anniversary patch stitched on the right breast and a printed front Lumberjacks crest.
The number “20” appears on both sleeves in black over white tackle twill, while the verso
displays the same number in yellow over white. “LEACH” is printed in yellow on a black
nameplate across the upper back. A CCM crest is stitched to the back hem, and inside, a fight
strap remains firmly affixed.
Despite Leach’s limited action that season, game wear on this jersey is extensive, suggesting
either use in a prior season or by another player. The front band displays several large stick
marks, while the right sleeve includes additional stick marks, a few board burns, and even small
cuts in the fabric. The left sleeve mirrors this level of wear, notably featuring what appear to be
blood stains around the elbow area.
