From the 1998-99 IHL All-Star Game comes this Eastern Conference jersey worn by goaltender
Zac Bierk, who represented his club during the mid-season showcase. Tagged as a size “56” in
the collar, this Bauer-made gamer features a standout “EASTERN” crest across the chest,
flanked by five blue stitched stars above and an “IHL” crest below.
The left breast carries a Bauer logo patch, while the right shoulder is adorned with an IHL
All-Star Game patch. On the left shoulder, a white star with red tackle twill trim appears, along
with “35” which is presented on both sleeves and the verso of the jersey in blue over white and
red triple layered tackle twill. Additional IHL and Bauer patches are stitched to the back hem,
and a fight strap remains firmly affixed inside.
The front of the jersey displays a number of small stains that appear to possibly be dried blood, with
similar markings seen on both sleeves. It’s unknown whether these stains resulted from an
in-game injury to Bierk or are after the fact stains. Bierk has signed the front of the jersey near
the collar in black marker, adding the number “30” beneath his name which is the number he
wore for his Cleveland Lumberjacks that season. The signature remains bold and clean.
