Known for his physical presence and toughness on the ice, Mike Ruark racked up over 800
penalty minutes across four seasons with the Manitoba Moose. This game-worn jersey
originates from the 2000–01 campaign, his final season with the team.
Tagged a size “56” in the collar, this jersey was manufactured by SP. A Moose patch is found on
the right shoulder, while a special patch celebrating the franchise’s 5th season adorns the left.
The front right breast features a sewn-on Molson Canadian sponsor patch. Ruark’s number
“33” is stitched on both sleeves and the back in black over silver and purple triple-layered tackle
twill. His surname, “RUARK,” appears across a white nameplate on the back in black
single-layer twill. A fight strap is affixed inside the jersey. Both SP and IHL crests are stitched
near the hem on the back.
Game wear is clearly visible throughout the piece. Small stick marks are present across the
front, alongside faint brown stains, remnants of washed-out blood. The right sleeve shows
additional stick marks and similar staining, while the left sleeve features more of the same,
including a prominent stick mark across the shoulder. On the back of the jersey, a yellow stain
appears over the top of the nameplate. This jersey is accompanied by an LOA.
