The 1985-86 Montreal Canadiens claimed the storied franchise's 23rd Stanley Cup after a spectacular playoff run through Boston, Hartford, New York and Calgary in the spring of 1986. Rookie goalie Patrick Roy claimed his first of an NHL record three Conn Smythe trophies as the 1986 playoff MVP, with the team's promising future featuring young stars Chelios, Richer and Lemieux. Offered here, we present this collection of ten (10) pucks signed by members of the 1985-86 Stanley Cup champion Montreal Canadiens. Signing their autographs over mostly souvenir model slugs made by InGlasCo that feature various styles and sizes of Black Hawks logos over their fronts and NHL logos on the reverse sides, all of the pucks included in the lot have been signed in silver marker ink while most have also been inscribed by the man that signed it with an inscription listing the 1986 Stanley Cup victory in some form. Additionally, a couple have also included inscriptions for their number and/or HHOF induction year as well. Including examples signed by HOFers Patrick Roy, Chris Chelios and Guy Carbonneau, also present are pucks signed by Penney (x2), Greene, Skrudland, Naslund, Richer and Nilan. With the signatures all displaying beautifully for the most part (some show the odd light/small smudge that is worth mentioning for accuracy) along with the pucks themselves (some show light handling/age wear), many of the pucks included are accompanied by matching COA's
