This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/24/2025
Winning four Stanley Cups in just six seasons during the early-1950s, the Detroit Red Wings boasted a superstar roster that included Gordie Howe, Terry Sawchuk, Marcel Pronovost, Alex Delvecchio and Ted Lindsay among many other notables. Owning a total of eleven (11) Stanley Cup championships since their founding in 1926 and quickly coming up on their centennial anniversary, offered here is this collection of eighteen (18) pucks signed by men that suited up for the famed red and white during the decade of the 1950s. Signing their autographs over mostly souvenir model slugs made by InGlasCo that feature various styles and sizes of Red Wings logos over their fronts and NHL logos on the reverse sides, all of the pucks included in the lot have been signed in either silver or gold marker ink while each also has been inscribed by the man that signed it with an inscription listing the Stanley Cup's they won while wearing Detroit's uniform during the 1950s. Additionally, a couple have also included inscriptions for their number and/or HHOF induction year as well. Including examples signed by HOFers Red Kelly, Ted Lindsay, Alex Delvecchio and Marcel Pronovost, also present are pucks signed by Hillman, Stasiuk, Liscombe, Reise, Pavelich, McNab, Skinner (coach), Prystai, Lefty Wilson (trainer), Hay, Johnny Wilson, Dube, Woit and Bonin, the signatures all display beautifully for the most part (some show the odd light/small smudge that is worth mentioning for accuracy) while many of the pucks included are accompanied by matching COA's from companies such as AJ Sports, SportAuthentix and other companies.
