Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025

One of the NHL’s most consistent players during his tenure, averaging over a-point-a-game throughout his 20-season career, superstar and three-time Stanley Cup champion (twice as a player) Joe Sakic used this signed stick during his time in Colorado in the late-1990s, with this particular model shaft used in the 1998-2000 time frame, and this type of model blade used circa 2000. An Easton T-Flex model with generic Easton blade, F-95 appears over the upper shaft, with the original white tape on the handle with "19" Sakic" handwritten (there is also something beneath crossed out), and the blade tape removed. There is wear at the tip and stem of the blade and to the shaft, with darkening to the handle including a small tear (the shaft was probably used longer than the blade). Sakic has signed the front side blade in silver, with the signature standing out nicely against the black background.
