Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/24/2025
Worn during the warm-up of the Dec 1, 2022 match vs Florida by Vancouver to celebrate recent HOF inductees Roberto Luongo and the Sedin brothers, this signed "Luongo" Canucks jersey was worn by Ethan Bear. Made by Adidas, a band displaying both "Made in Canada" and size "58" designations is affixed to the inner collar while the front and reverse necklines have been accented with the crests of the NHL and Adidas respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with Vancouver's orca whale team crest that features both embroidered and textured details throughout, matching vintage style hockey stick crests grace each shoulder. Styled over the sleeves and verso with "1" in single layer tackle twill numerals, "Luongo" appears across the nameplate, with the Luongo/Sedin brothers crest sewn to the right breast. Worn in just the warm-up, the jersey shows no game use. Luongo has signed the reverse "1" in black marker, with Bear signing the team patch on the inside hem which denotes the game the jersey was warm-up worn in. Bear's "74" is also handwritten to the fight strap. A COA from the Canucks will accompany.
