Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025

The Conn Smythe Trophy winner as playoff MVP in 2014 with the Los Angeles Kings, Justin Williams currently shares a playoff record with Glenn Anderson for the most Game 7 goals in NHL history with seven. We have a Philadelphia Flyers alternate jersey that was worn by the Cobourg native in 2003-04. Size “54” tagging is attached to the collar, with embroidered Koho and NHL patches on the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the gorgeous classic “P” Flyers team crest with modified two-tone colour, the orange V-neck has been accented with "14" in tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Williams” across the nameplate in matching material. Likely worn briefly as an alternate or "third" jersey, there are a few faint marks to the front along with a pair of board burn marks on/near the right elbow. A MeiGray patch numbered “B07185” resides over the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 2" example. An LOA will accompany.
Getty Image #52412654 (January 01, 2004) appears to be a photo-match to the long loose thread on the left side of the "4" of "14" on the right sleeve, with the extended thread on the middle portion of the "4" of "14" on the right sleeve also visible, but the photo is not from close enough to call a definitive photo-match.
