Worn by hard-hitting fan favorite William Carrier during the 2018-19 NHL campaign, this jersey
dates to his early years with the Golden Knights after being selected in the expansion draft.
Carrier quickly established himself in Vegas as a reliable presence over seven seasons and
played a key role in the team’s eventual Stanley Cup championship.
This Golden Knights jersey features an Adidas brand tag inside the collar that reads “Size 56”
and “Made in Canada.” The NHL shield sits at the collar with the Adidas crest positioned at the
rear neckline. Both shoulders display the team patches, Carrier’s “28” appears in white over
gold tackle twill on the sleeves and in grey over gold on the back of the jersey. His name,
“CARRIER,” is stitched in grey single twill onto a white nameplate, and a fight strap is securely
affixed inside the jersey. Designated as “White Set 1,” the jersey includes an official team patch
sewn into the hem, alongside a MeiGray patch bearing the Game-Worn Jersey Authentication
Program number “R06351,” which matches the number on the included Team/MeiGray LOA.
The jersey shows extensive game wear, with numerous team repairs backed with material
reinforcement. A prominent stick mark crosses the front of the jersey, while the right sleeve
features several repairs, a blue transfer mark on the cuff, and a puck mark over the “8”. The left
sleeve bears additional visible repairs near the cuff area as well.
This jersey has been photo-matched to a game action photo on November 27, 2018, against the
Chicago Blackhawks (Getty Images #1074078664). The match is confirmed through several
distinct marks; a stick mark on the lower right side of the front, a puck mark over the “8” on the
right sleeve, a stick mark on the right shoulder and team repairs on the left cuff.
