Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/24/2025
Previously the Kansas City Scouts and Colorado Rockies, the New Jersey Devils operated for the franchise's first 25 seasons in East Rutherford before bringing their evil magic to the Prudential Center in Newark just before the 2007-08 NHL season. From the earlier era of the club in East Rutherford, we offer a trio of sticks used by popular Devilish players. Included, we have a Vic model used by Chico Resch circa early-1980s, a Bauer Supreme model used by Bobby Carpenter circa late-1990s, and a Sher-Wood model used by John MacLean circa early-1990s. Each stick has the respective player's name to the upper shaft, with each having the original tape jobs intact except the MacLean, which has had the blade tape removed so he could add a red marker signature. All three also show good game-use, with tape added to the lower shaft of the MacLean stick most likely to rectify a crack.
