Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025

Selected 9th overall by Calgary in 2003, blueliner Dion Phaneuf played 14 seasons in the NHL for four different clubs, and was chosen to play in three NHL All-Star Games. From his time with his third NHL team, we offer an Ottawa Senators jersey worn by the Edmonton native in 2016-17. A label with 58+ sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring an Ottawa centurion team crest, “2” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in white-over-black tackle twill, with alternate patches over each shoulder, the NHL centennial crest on the lower right sleeve and the team's 25th anniversary crest to the right breast. Game-wear is extremely light, with just a dark mark over the front left shoulder. The sleeve cuffs have also been customized, with the circumference of each "taken in" (there is a team store price tag attached to the left cuff). The team patch on the fight strap reads “Game-worn jersey registration number 00000020”, and the registration number matches the one on the accompanying COA.
