A product of the famous program at the University of North Dakota, Chris Porter was drafted by Chicago in 2003, but made his NHL debut for St Louis in 2008-09. The Thunder Bay native would see action in parts of six seasons with the Blues, along with a single season in Minnesota, with additional time in the AHL. This Blues jersey was the very first worn for away games by Porter in his rookie season in 2008-09. CCM size “56” labeling is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous blue-note team crest featuring embroidered detailing, the white V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Porter” across the nameplate in single blue twill. The Liebe team patch is screened to the inside hem, and it denotes the jersey as a "Set 1" specimen, with "9/22/08". Exhibiting light wear, there is just a few marks and faint burns to the sleeves. Porter played in 6 games with the Blues in 2008-09, so this road jersey would have been worn in 3 games, including Oct 11th vs NYI (second NHL game), Oct 13th vs Toronto (3rd NHL game) and Nov 25th vs Nashville (6th NHL game).
