Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025

Drafted by Edmonton in 1997, but playing in just 23 games for the club over two seasons, Shaun Van Allen spent a trio of seasons in Anaheim following his time in Alberta with the new expansion Ducks. We offer a Ducks jersey worn by the Calgary native in his penultimate season in California, in 1994-95. A CCM label and size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the embossed Ducks team crest in use from 1993-2006, the attractive V-neck has been embellished with triple-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Van Allen” sewn to the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The alternate's "A" is affixed just with a sticky reverse, easily removable, and as Val Allen did not serve as an official alternate with the club, he probably wore it for a short time as a replacement for the alternate's that were out. The jersey shows nice game-use with a few scrapes over the front and board burns with small resulting holes to the elbow sections. There is also some pilling to the interior sleeves.
