Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/29/2025
This lot includes two jerseys from Charlie Elick’s first WHL season with the Brandon Wheat Kings, featuring both a game-issued black road jersey and a game-worn “Stealth” jersey.
The 2021-22 black road jersey is not showing any noticeable game wear and is offered as a game-issued jersey. Elick played just nine regular-season games and four playoff games that year, and this jersey was prepared for him but most likely never used in competition. Manufactured by CCM, this size 56 jersey features a WHL patch on the right breast and a CCM patch on the left. The numbers are applied in yellow over black and white on both arms and the back, with “ELICK” in white on the nameplate. The CCM logo is embroidered on the reverse neckline, and the fight strap remains securely intact. The inside hem includes the team’s official set tag, identifying it as part of the 2021-22 season.
The 2021-22 “Stealth” jersey is a game-worn piece, showing minor game wear. The inside hem features team set tags for both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, suggesting possible prior use by another player, though there is no visible evidence of a former nameplate. The jersey was officially prepared for Elick for the 2021-22 season, where he saw limited action. This size 54 jersey is also manufactured by CCM, featuring a WHL patch on the right breast and a CCM patch on the left. The numbers appear in black over gold on the arms and gold over black on the back. The BWK black patches are sewn onto both shoulders, while “ELICK” appears in gold on the nameplate. The fight strap is securely sewn inside the jersey.
