Bernard Parent cemented his legacy as one of the greatest goaltenders in NHL history,
redefining the position with his clutch performances and unmatched composure under pressure.
Best known for backstopping the Philadelphia Flyers to back-to-back Stanley Cup victories in
1974 and 1975—earning the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP both times—Parent’s
dominance in net became the foundation of the Flyers’ famed “Broad Street Bullies” era.
Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1984, Parent finished his career with 271 wins and an
impressive 2.55 goals-against average.
Offered here is a 1968-69 O-Pee-Chee Bernard Parent rookie card, graded PSA 7. This pop-46
card is only bettered by 54 others on the PSA population report out of the 344 submitted to PSA
over the years. The PSA holder that the card is preserved in remains in good condition with just
a small handful of scratches and light scuffs over both sides. A key rookie card from one of the
game’s most decorated and influential goaltenders.
