Highlighted by a framed display featuring Wayne Gretzky's retirement ceremony from the Edmonton Oilers on Oct 1, 1999, where the Great One officially said goodbye to his beloved fans in Edmonton, we offer a group of 4 items, including a 2001 NHL All-Star Game framed display and 2001 and 2003 (signed by Dany Heatley) All-Star Game vinyl banners. The Gretzky display has what appears to be an original ticket to the match, a program cover, pin and photo of Gretzky's first Oilers point in 1979, along with a plaque, all nicely matted in Oilers colours and framed to 21 1/2" x 31". The All-Star Game display has tickets including to the game and to All-Star Saturday along with a program cover, pin, Avalanche crest and plaque, with a blue mat, framed to 22" x 24 1/2". The 2001 banner is 29 1/2" x 38", and it features an Aves logo and NHL shield crest, with "NHL All-Star Weekend" along with the date. There are grommets at all four corners to hang the banner. The 2003 banner is 24" x 72", with "NHL All-Star Block Party" graphics on one side, and "NHL All-Star Week" on the other, along with the dates. Heatley has signed the "All-Star Week" side in silver. Both banners show just light wear from use, and would make for impressive display pieces when hung.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
