A pair of Leafs team-signed sticks from the 1960s is offered, including a youth-stick with signatures from the 1962-63-64 Stanley Cup champions. First, the youth sized stick is a "Juvenile" model with 20 green ink signatures on one side including HOFers Duff, Keon, Bower, Stanley, Mahovlich, Armstrong (twice) and Ted Kennedy (retired in 1957), along with Harris, Stewart, Shack, Brewer, MacMillan, Baun (faded), Simmons, equipment managers Tommy Nayler and Bob Haggert and a few others (this combination of signers all played on the 1961-62, 1962-63 and 1963-64 Stanley Cup championship Leafs teams). The signatures display well, with a few showing bleeding. There is also a coat of shellac over the signatures. Next, we have an "Imperial" junior model stick team-signed by the 1968-69 Leafs, with 17 ballpoint signatures on one side including HOFers Horton (flawless dark signature), Armstrong, Pulford, Ullman, Bower, and coach Punch Imlach, along with Smith, Oliver, Ellis, Ley, Sutherland, Pelyk, Mickey, Quinn, Henderson, Gamble and one other. Most of the signature present wonderfully, all fully legible. There is also a coat of shellac that was added to both sides of this stick. We should also note that the 1968-69 stick has tape on the blade, and both sticks have player name decals attached to the reverse side of the shaft to correspond with the placement of the signatures.
