Featuring a checklist that consisted of 264 total cards, the 1977 O-Pee-Chee baseball set is found heavily loaded with a number of players from the native Expos & Blue Jays. As they were printed later than the Topps cards, this gave OPC the opportunity to update the teams and airbrush the hats of the free agents and traded players. The 1978 O-Pee-Chee set is complete at 242 cards, with this set also chalked full of players that were suiting up for the two Canadian based Major League Baseball franchises in the form of the Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expos. We offer partial sets from each season. The 1977 partial set is missing twenty-five cards to be complete; 17, 20, 21, 30, 40, 43, 45, 47, 54, 73, 77, 93, 121, 124, 148, 153, 164, 171, 179, 180, 189, 198, 226, 234 and 241. With an overall condition of EX to EX-MT/EX-MT+, many have light corner fuzz/wear and a few are creased. The star players are in the EX-MT to NRMT range, with the exceptions #100 Bench showing corner wear, and #264 Ryan with corner and border wear.
