A nice group of Chex Cereal photos are up for bidding in this lot, totaling 34 from both the 1963-64 and 1964-65 promotions. Included, the are 7 glossy paper variation photos from 1963-64 including JC Tremblay, Talbot, Gauthier, Backstrom, Horton, Simmons and MacMillan (each of these include the full border and background text with just light wear, except the MacMillan, which has been trimmed to the image and it has creases along with tape on the top border).
Next, there is 4 1963-64 photos including Mahovlich (3) and Duff (all include most of the border, with one of the Mahovlich photos trimmed smaller), followed by 11 1963-64 and 1964-65 series 1 and 2 Montreal Canadiens photos with approx 3 showing the full border including Worsley (surface wear) and Beliveau (2, one with surface wear, and one with a crease), along with 8 trimmed slightly small than the border with Hodge (crease), Berenson (surface wear), JC Tremblay, Laperriere, Reaume (surface wear, small indentation), Provost (light surface wear), Worsley (surface dent) and Beliveau (light surface wear).
Rounding out the lot, we have 12 1964-65 series 2 photos (8 Black Hawks and 4 Red Wings) with approx 6 with the full borders or very close to it, including MacGregor (creases), Martin (crease), Wharram (creases), Hillman (surface scratches), Hull (creased) and Hall (creases), followed by 5 trimmed smaller than the borders, including Wharram, Pilote (creased, tape on reverse), Hay (crease), Esposito (pinholes) and Gadsby (glued to a cardboard backing, tape). There is also a Delvecchio in partially broken Chex frame. The majority of the photos show minor wear unless otherwise noted, with many having a small area on the reverse where there was once glue or tape affixed.
