Playing his junior hockey as a member of the Montreal Junior Canadiens in the Ontario Hockey Association, Andre Boudrias would go on to play a total of 662 games in the National Hockey League with the likes of Montreal, Minnesota, Chicago, St. Louis and Vancouver, staring with the Canucks in each of their first six (6) seasons on a full-time basis. Also playing a pair of seasons in the WHA with the Quebec Nordiques between 1976 and 1978, winning an AVCO Cup in 1977, Boudrias would go on to become one of the game's most respected scouts with Montreal Canadiens and New Jersey after retiring, winning Stanley Cup's in 1993 (Montreal), 1995, 2000 and 2003 (New Jersey). Offered here, we present this WHA Quebec Nordiques jersey worn by Boudrias during his final professional season of 1977-78. Unbranded and void of any collar tagging, the mesh construction offering measures out to roughly a size "48" for its effort. Sporting a white knit collar and decorated over the front with a screened on Nordiques crest, it is important to note that the body of the jersey has been shortened by being hemmed underneath the crest on the front and numbers on the reverse. Sporting no fight strap on the interior and accented around the hem and shoulders with screened on Fleur de Lys', the sleeves and verso have been styled with Boudrias' number "18" in matching style screened on numerals while "Boudrias" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Displaying good game-use throughout its entirety, stick marks appear over the front and both sleeves while both sleeves also show battle scars through pilling, board burns and small unrepaired cuts/holes. Also showing team repairs over the upper portion of the left sleeve and lower reverse, staining from use and age is found around the cuffs and collar while there is also some wear to the screened on accents also that are worth mentioning for accuracy.
