Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025

MGloriously golden mid-1970s L.A. Kings jersey worn by forward Don Kozak features team repairs! The circa 1974-75/1975-76 durene jersey has its garter style fight strap intact and displays frayed Goodman tagging in the back of the collar that remains attached only along the bottom. You can clearly see on the back where the surname “Kozak” was spelled out in letters that were sewn directly onto the jersey. Typical of the era, those names were added for TV games and subsequently removed. The colorful and beautifully detailed Kings crown crest is sewn on the front and number 24 on the back and both sleeves is purple on white double twill. There are three solid team repairs on the right sleeve, another sewing fix on the left back below the numbers, along with a number of small repairs across the upper back where surname letters had been added and removed. A solid black mark on the front testifies to game wear along with marks on the rear tail and left sleeve. Such great colors!
