Extensive collection of NHL schedules from the likes of Esso, Molson and Mutual Life, among others, spans the 1950s through the 2010s and features more than 80 examples! Another 13 examples of NHL rules books, schedules and final statistics booklets from the 1940s through the 1980s are also featured along with 38 Toronto Maple Leafs schedules dating from 1977 to 2014.
The collection of more than 80 sponsored NHL schedules features a total of 26 from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. They are generally exhibiting some wear and tear from handling with some cleaner examples included.
The oldest is Esso’s 1957-1958 hockey schedule, which has a garage’s stamp on the verso and nothing written on it.
Also from Esso are 1959-60 to 1965-66 (7), 1967-68, 1969-70 to 1972-73 (4), 1974-75, 1982-83 to 1984-85 (3) and 1986-87 to 1988-89 (3).
Molson’s NHL schedules begin with a pair from 1970-71 and also include 1976-77 to 1980-81 (5), 1982-83 to 1986-87 (5), 1988-89 and 1989-90.
Mutual Life NHL schedules begin with 1973-74 and also include two examples of 1975-76, as well as 1977-78 to 1981-82 (5) and 1986-87 to 1989-90 (4).
There are 17 schedules from the 1990s and 19 from the 2000s and 2010s and all appear to be in nice condition.
Three dozen schedules from the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s are pocket-sized aside from the Mutual Group’s 1990-91 and 1991-92 schedule and 1990-91 Molson schedule pamphlets.
A 1946-47 “Official Rule Book of the National Hockey League” is the oldest of the league guides which include a 1953-53 NHL Schedule, 1953-54 NHL Final Statisics, 1956-57 NHL Schedule, 1958-59 NHL Final Statistics, 1963-64 NHL Schedule, and the 50th anniversary 1966-67 NHL Schedule, along with the 1968-69 NHL Schedule and 1968-69 Final Statistics, (2) 1976-77 NHL Schedule (and previous season’s stats), 1980-81 and 1981-82 NHL Schedules (and previous season’s stats).
The 38 Maple Leafs pocket schedules beginning with 1977-78 into the 2010s come along with a 2011-12 Toronto Star Maple Leafs and Marlies schedule and all appear to generally be in good condition.
