Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/24/2025
A shrine to Maple Leafs legends, this curated lot blends iconic signatures with a whole lot of
Toronto hockey pride.
Leading the charge is a replica Stanley Cup, standing approximately 13 inches tall and signed
by the late, great Johnny Bower in bold blue marker, complete with his “HOF 76” inscription. The
Replica piece itself remains in excellent condition, with no major flaws noticeable.
Next is a striking CCM Vintage Hockey jersey, size XL, honoring Frank Mahovlich. The number
“27” appears on both sleeves in blue single twill and again on the back in white single twill, with
“MAHOVLICH” stitched proudly across a blue nameplate. The original store tag remains
attached to the left sleeve, and Mahovlich’s bold signature is scrawled across the back “7,”
accented with a hologram affixed just beneath the number. Also included is a framed portrait of
Frank Mahovlich from his days with the Detroit Red Wings. He’s caught smiling in a relaxed,
posed shot, signed clearly in black marker. The frame measures 14 by 16 inches and remains in
excellent condition.
From the official Toronto Maple Leafs replica series, we have two standout pieces. One captures
Darryl Sittler jumping over the boards, while the other features Johnny Bower in a classic stance
in front of the end boards. Both stand approximately 10 inches tall and feature crisp blue marker
signatures across the board sections of their respective display. Bower’s version also includes
his famous “China Wall” inscription.
Further honoring Sittler, the collection includes a framed display marking his unforgettable
10-point performance. The photo shows him mid-stride, with his name and number graphically
printed across the image. His signature, placed horizontally over the number “7”. The frame
itself is encased by classic Sherwood stick shafts cut to make a picture frame. It measures
approximately 17 ¾ by 13 ¾ inches.
The collection wraps up with two sticks. One is a wooden Easton player stick, signed by
Mahovlich in blue marker across the bare blade. The second is a white-painted goalie stick
commemorating the 1967 Stanley Cup-winning Maple Leafs, signed by Johnny Bower on the
straight blade in blue marker with the inscription: “67 Cup - 76 - HHOF”. Both sticks remain in
excellent condition, with no major flaws.
