Selected 105th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1996, Michal Rozsival would suit up in the National Hockey League for 963 games between Pittsburgh, New York, Phoenix and Chicago, winning Stanley Cups with the Blackhawks in 2013 and 2015. Also winning an IIHF World Championship gold medal representing the Czech Republic at the tournament in 2010, offered here is this Penguins third jersey worn by Rozsival during the 2001-02 season. Made by Koho, both size "54" and "Made in Canada" labels are affixed to the inner collar with the latter displaying Rozsival's number "28" that has been penned to it in black marker by the equipment staff. Sporting a Koho logo crest over the reverse neckline, the NHL shield logo has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a Penguins team crest that features embroidered details throughout, matching alternate logo patches have been added over both shoulders as well. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Rozsival's number "28" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Rozsival" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Having had a Penguins "Game Worn Authentic" tag signed by then equipment manager, Steve Latin, sewn inside the collar, the jersey exhibits game-wear in the form of stick marks, coloured board paint transfers and board burns over both sleeves with more stick marks and coloured board paint transfers over the lower front as well with the same area also showing stuck on residue. Showing light pilling around the elbows on the interior and accompanied by a Penguins LOA, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #72388877 (December 11th, 2001 vs Washington) to the stick mark in the white hem line over the lower front near Rozsival's right arm.
