Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025

The London Knights have long been known as a factory for NHL talent, but their 2011–2013
squads were something else entirely. Back-to-back OHL championships. Back-to-back Memorial
Cup runs. And a roster packed with future pros who’d go on to win—again—at the next level.
Chris Tierney was right in the middle of it. Smart, steady, and quietly productive, he didn’t need
the spotlight to make an impact. That same understated game translated to the NHL, where he
carved out a career across 500+ games with San Jose, Ottawa, and Florida. Tierney never tried
to do too much—but he always knew how to do just enough.
This Hockey Fights Cancer warm-up worn jersey was used during Ottawa’s 2020–21 awareness
night. The jersey is an Adidas-made size 56 (as tagged in the collar), featuring the NHL shield at
the front neckline and an Adidas logo on the reverse. A white Adidas patch sits on the right
breast, with a Hockey Fights Cancer patch on the left shoulder. Tierney’s number 71 appears on
the verso of the jersey in white over purple tackle twill, enhanced with elegant ribbon prints that
add texture and symbolism to the numeral. His name, “TIERNEY,” is stitched in purple twill on a
black nameplate, and a crisp, bold signature in black marker crosses the back “7” cleanly and
prominently.
The jersey includes a properly affixed fight strap and remains in excellent condition, showing no
signs of wear or damage. It comes with a team COA signed by the Senators’ Head
Equipment Manager and housed in a premium black binder, finished with a gold Sens logo on
the cover.
Only worn in pre-game warmup, this is a beautifully preserved jersey tied to a meaningful
cause — a perfect collector’s piece from a dependable NHL veteran.
