A skilled winger with smooth hands and a natural scoring touch, Joffrey Lupul was selected 7th
overall in the 2002 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks. Over the course of his career, he suited
up for the Ducks, Oilers, Flyers, and most memorably, the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he
became a fan favorite for his offensive spark and on-ice leadership.
This jersey is a size 60 Reebok model from the 2014 NHL Winter Classic, where the Maple
Leafs faced off against the Detroit Red Wings in front of over 105,000 fans at Michigan
Stadium—still one of the largest crowds in hockey history. The jersey features Reebok and NHL
crests affixed to the reverse and front of the neckline, respectively, with “NHL WINTER
CLASSIC” inscribed on the inside. Lupul’s number “19” appears on both sleeves and the back in
white single twill, with “LUPUL” in matching twill stitched over a navy nameplate. A Winter
Classic patch is sewn on the right shoulder, and an Assistant Captain’s “A” is stitched on the left
breast. Lupul has signed the center of the back “9” in bold blue marker, and a Frozen Pond hologram is
affixed to the base of the number for authentication. The jersey also includes a fight strap sewn
inside, and store tags remain attached to the left sleeve. Jersey comes with COA from Frozen Pond.
